There’s something special about skincare made slowly, intentionally, and from the whole plant and resin. Blissful Tallow begins with 100% grass-fed tallow and is infused with a beautiful blend of organic botanicals, including rose buds, jasmine, marshmallow root & leaf, calendula, chamomile, comfrey, plantain, lavender, and yarrow.

But one of my favorite parts of this formula is the Frankincense Resin — Boswellia sacra.

I don’t simply add a few drops of frankincense essential oil and call it frankincense-infused. I work with the actual aromatic resin, carefully extracting its resinous constituents before incorporating that preparation into my tallow formula. This allows me to use more of what makes the whole frankincense resin unique rather than relying solely on the volatile aromatic fraction found in essential oil.

The finished tallow is then complemented with organic sweet almond, jojoba, rose hip, and black cumin oils, along with sandalwood, jasmine, vanilla, and lavender essential oils.

The result is a rich, concentrated cream created to moisturize, soften, condition, and protect dry skin, while leaving it feeling smooth and nourished. Because it’s concentrated, you only need a small amount.
